Hey everybody my name is Rick Moncrief I am the Pastor of the greatest church on earth . Joshuas Place in Jackson , Ga. I am married with the 3 most awesome children in the world. My wife is Donna have been married 27 years. She is the most incredible person I know. My greatest desire is to do God”s will to please and honor Him.My prayer is that God will break my heart for the things that break His heart. I believe that God is pouring out His Spirit upon all flesh and I want to be in the middle of the outpouring. Much Love

This church is the greatest church I have seen I do see God presence in Pastors Rick Donna and Patsey. I am greatful you all believe in the best in everyone and see the best in all. As 1 Corinthinas states about love. Love does change people where each is in their walk with God the church that church is there encouraging and loving know God is working construction in each of us to his will not our own. But those pastors still see the best in the worst. I believe in this church.

I am proud to call JOSHUA’S PLACE home for my family. This is a church that is on FIRE for GOD! You can feel the love and compassion fron everyone in this place! Pastor Rick,Donna & Family are great and will be there for you no matter what and when with no questions asked! If you want to feel the spirit of the LORD then Joshua’s Place is the place to be!!!! I want to praise God for a family that had a dream to bring a church to Jackson, Ga. They acted according to the word of God. My husband got saved here and the annointing on this church is nothing but the Glory of God! We are blessed to have the freedom to be a part of this family of God. We can’t wait every week to see what the holy spirit has for our lives!The worship service led by Ms Donna is incredible and having a pastor that preaches the truth. This is a church that is winning souls to Christ, the christians’ they’re being touched by God. This is a house of Prayer! I just want to give some thanks first to God who got me up out of my chair at the last minute on that sunday morning in november to visit joshua’s place.My wife wanda had invited me after her visit but I thought it would be just like the other church’s we have visited so I didn’t go. The next week right at the last minute before they were leaving I was moved to ask could I go dressed like I was bluejeans ect…I’m so thankfull I did.It changed my life.A special thanks to Rick a preacher who can preach a fired up message like no other preacher I have ever heard and continues to keep me captivated,wanting more of the word of God. Thanks and may God bless you and your family so that through singing, praising,preaching and teaching many souls can be saved and led to God. I don’t want the devil to be able to claim any victory over anything or anybody.special thanks not only to Rick but to Donna Cox and coach who prayed for me at the alter and I felt the spirit of God move in me. Later I felt it again when Carolyn Martel prayed for me and again when Darla and Teresa and a few others prayed for me. We are a blessed church to have so many people who can call on the holy spirit to come down on people.the alter there is a very special place.I pray for many people to visit it.lives change there,prayers are answered there.I went to a methodist church in ellenwood for nine years and never got the spirit I have here. Jimmy Swaggart moved me more than that church and all the others I had been to before that.I still get a laugh when i think back about the time in one of Ricks sermons when he was talking about the old methodist greeters that never smiled and wore those dark suits like mafia hit men.that hit the nail on the head.looking back some of them may have been packing heat under those jackets and if someone had shouted out or talked in tongues they might have pulled them. Just kidding about the heat. I went through a divorce from my first wife after she found her so called soul mate on the internet. I then moved in with my niece which is more like my sister for a year. I found a fixer upper in high falls and moved in there. I went to a few church’s in jackson and high falls but they were just like the other church’s I had been to. I quit going for a few years and then Jesus sent wanda into my life and truly blessed me with a christian women. After we got married we tried a few church’s but still no luck with a spirit moving church till joshua’s place. There I get fed what I need in many ways and have been blessed by Jesus to touch the lives of many through sowing seeds in out reach,talking to others about Jesus and our church,and praying for souls to be saved as mine was. I also have been praying for God to work in me to heal the sick and lead souls to him and to him all the glory. I want to thank all my brothers and sisters at Joshua’s place who have made me feel so welcome. I feel as if I have known ya’ll for years. I love all of you so much….and I pray for our congragation all the time. God bless us all.

spiritually alive, you’re going to love this! If you’re
spiritually dead, you won’t want to read it. If you’re
spiritually curious, there is still hope!
Why Go To
Church?
A Church goer wrote
a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained
that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday.
“I’ve gone for 30 years now,” he wrote, “and in that
time I have heard someth ing like 3,000 sermons. But for
the life of me, I can’t remember a single one of them.
So, I think I’m wasting my time and the pastors are
wasting theirs by giving sermons at all.”
This started a real
controversy in the “Letters to the Editor” column, much
to the delight of the editor. It went on for weeks until
someone wrote this clincher:
“I’ve been married
for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some
32,000 meals. But, for the life of me, I cannot recall
the entire menu for a single one of those meals. But I
do know this.. They all nourished me and gave me the
strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not
given me these meals, I would be physically dead today.
Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I
would be spiritually dead today!” When you are DOWN to
nothing…. God is UP to something! Faith sees the
invisible, believes the incredible and receives the
impossible! Thank God for our physical AND our spiritual
nourishment!
